The simplified audit identified the following non-compliances:
- Some buttons do not have discernible text.
- Some form elements do not have labels.
- Some links do not have discernible text.
- Some elements do not have sufficient color contrast.
- The <html> element does not have a valid value for the lang attribute.
- Scrollable regions are not accessible via the keyboard.
- <ul> and <ol> elements do not directly contain only <li>, <script>, or <template> elements.
Since then, several corrections have been made (see next section).
Following the audit, several corrective measures were implemented:
- The incorrect lang attribute on the HTML element (/locale-select) was corrected.
- Additional aria-label attributes were added.
- The contrast of the quiz cards was improved.
- Invisible overlays were removed.
- The contrast of the header elements was improved.
- Indexing of redirecting share URLs was prevented.
- External redirect links were resolved.
- The sitemaps for the English and German versions were corrected.
- The alternate URLs in the homepage metadata were corrected.
